Squish is puzzle and game enthusist. They have a B.S. degree in Game and Simulation Arts and Sciences from RPI and worked in the mobile game industry for 5 years.
Squish started collecting puzzles in 5th grade with their dad. They attended puzzle gatherings together all over the world including a trip to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to visit the International Intellectual Museum. Squish's dad started making his own puzzles and showing Squish how to make puzzles too. Squish's dad created his own puzzle company called Puzzle Palace. Squish worked for his dad for 9 years making and selling mechanical puzzles until the company shut down in 2009.
Squish and their dad continuted to collect puzzles and by 2021 Squish's dad had amassed one of the largest collections of mechanical puzzles in the world and started his own puzzle museum.
In 2022 Squish started Puzzle Place to share their own collection of puzzles and games with their community in the San Francisco Bay Area and encourage community members to design their own puzzles and games. They believe that puzzles and games should be for everyone and that anyone can design their own puzzle or game.
